Delhi Police Recruitment 2009
Introduction
Recruitment of Constables (Male & Female) in Delhi Police is done by a Recruitment Board appointive by member of Police.
Candidates from all parts of country are eligible for recruitment. The vacancies are advised in the pertained Employment Exchange of Delhi and Central Employment Exchange on all India Basis. Besides, vacancies are also pushed in News Papers/Rozgar Samachar inviting application for open competitor. The applicants are required to appear for Physical Examination, Written Test and Interview.
Direct Recruitment to the Ministerial Cadre is made only in the rank of Head John Constable (Ministerial) and of shorthand typist in the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector. Competitor checkup for this purpose is held for which campaigners from open competition as well as from the section are eligible. vacuums are also advertised in News Papers/Rozgar salvo.
Eligibility
10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board. Graduation Certificate issued to ex-serviceman from the Army/Navy/Air Force of Indian Union will also be acceptable for male candidates.
Relax able unto 11th pass only for:-
Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constable, drivers, dispatch riders etc. of Delhi Police.
Sons/daughters of serving, deceased, retired police personnel/Group ‘D’ employees of Delhi Police.
