India’s Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) is grounded in Mysore and was opened in 1950. CFTRI Mysore is one of the 40 national research laboratories found below the protection of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) India. CFTRI hence became a reality thanks to the vision and strives of its founders and a network of dedicated scientists who had a passion to engage in-depth scientific research into one of the most fundamental aspects of human life.
