Art Degree Courses provides you with an excellent grounding in fine art theory and practice and enables you to work with a variety of media including:
Painting
Printmaking
Digital Media
Photography
Sculpture
You will be taught by experienced practitioners through lectures, seminars and sessions, which create a dynamic arena for debate about present-day fine art practice, its history and theory. Visiting artists and critics of distinction also encourage to the programme of teaching at Canterbury. Art Degree Courses is the four year degree course includes a preparatory year designed to introduce you to studying Fine Art at degree level, offered as an alternative to a Foundation Diploma. On successful completion of the first year you will advance directly onto BA (Hons) Fine Art without further interview or application.
