DBT JRF 2011 Department of Biotechnology
Department of Biotechnology (DBT) will conduct an entrance test (held on April, 2011) result for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) program on First week of May, 2011. List of successful candidates will be issued online and Award letters will be sent to them after receiving necessary documents. Award letter request will be made till November, 2011 or else award letter request will not be consented. Students cannot join and activate their fellowship before the date of issue of the award letter.
Name of the written competitive exam: -Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET)
Eligibility: - The applicants must have Master degree in an appropriate area of Biotechnology.
Selection: – Selection of the candidate will be made by written test followed by interview. Written test and interview will be held at various centers mentioned in the candidate’s admit card.
Reservation: 15%, 7 &1/2%, 3% of seats shall be reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates severally. All the SC/ST and PH candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for irrespective of their percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
DBT JRF 2011 Admit Card
Admission Card shall be sent to the candidate at his/her address as referred in Application Form.

1. Date of issue of Application Forms: First week of February, 2011
2. Last date for issue of Application forms: Mid of March, 2011
3. Last date for submission of completed Application Forms: Mid of March, 2011
4. Date and time of Entrance Examination: Mid of May, 2011
5. Result of Entrance Examination: June / July 2011

why do u give such vague information….the official site says B-tech students can also apply ….not only masters!!!!!!!!!!!!
