Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) is a unique and highly important CSIR laboratory called for in plant explore for the product of and value increase to the medicinal and aromatic materials for meeting the demands of Indian industry and for foreign exchange earning by exports. The institute has state-of-art laboratories for plant tissue culture, DNA procedure, transgenic growth and gene and bimolecular pursuance and biological.
