CETPPMC 2011 Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Medical Colleges
Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Medical Colleges (CETPPMC) will be held in 2011for admission to MBBS course in Private Medical Colleges in Pondicherry. The administration council of the examination is the Pondicherry Linguistic & Religious Minority Medical & Dental Colleges Welfare Association. Candidates may only appear once for CETPPMC although SC/ST candidates may appear 2 times for CETPPMC.
Courses: – MBBS
Age Limit: – Candidates should be 17 years of age as on 31st December 2011. However, no upper age limit has been prescribed.
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates must have appeared in CETPPMC – 2011. All the same, appearance in CETPPMC – 2011 will not automatically qualify a candidate for admission to MBBS Degree Course; the candidate must fulfill the essential admission requirements dictated by Government of Pondicherry for that degree course.
Minimum Academic Qualification
Candidate for admission to the MBBS Degree Course must have possessed the H.Sc.,(Academic), examination took by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40 % for SC/OBC) in the following subjects: Biology (Botany & Zoology)/Physics/Chemistry. The candidate must also have taken English as one of the subjects.
CETPPMC 2011 Application Form
The application many be got from the Association office at Piliaiyarkuppam and also from the below mentioned colleges by post or in person. The application form can be purchased by cash with by DD drawn in favour of PLRMMDCWA (Pondicherry Linguistic & Religious Minority Medical and Dental Colleges Welfare Association), payable at Puducherry. Application form may also be downloaded from the Websites.
Scheme of Examination Top
There will be 2 papers consisting of objective type questions of 2 hours each:
Paper I: Physics & Chemistry
Paper II: Botany & Zoology
