The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is an independent organization collected by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CDFD finds support also from other agencies on specific collaborative projects. The CDFD (Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics) Hyderabad is a premier institute in the country, which allows for services in DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics and guides basic research in different areas of modern molecular and cellular biology. CDFD was conceived as a modern institution surrounding both basic and applied research in various areas of modern biology – a dream project of its founder director, Professor Seyed E. The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD), Hyderabad is a premier independent R & D Institute.

CDFD wishes to fill up under mentioned vacancies under Direct basis in Scientific Cadre The human genome project has clearly underlined the universality of life in the form of a common heritage that is DNA, with every other person being 99.9% identical to the other. Also the surge of information in the post genomic scenario has tremendous applications in healthcare apart from sociological implications. Also, the Human genome sequence information is likely to change the way medicine is practiced.
