Centre for Advanced Technology is a unit of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, was established by the section of Atomic Energy, engaged in R&D in non-nuclear front-line explore areas of Lasers, Particle catalysts and associated technologies. This was initially a Bhabha Atomic explore Centre facility and later formed as a separate DAE unit. in the first place called the Centre for Advanced engineering, it was called in January 2006 as Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced engineering .
