Central warehousing corporation head office
Central Warehouse Corporation was based in August, 1958 under Sub-Section 1, Section 18 of the Warehousing Corporation Act, 1958 (Central Amended Act of 1962) enacted by the Parliament. The Warehousing Scheme envisages allowing for storage facilities for food grains and other agriculture commodities. Warehousing activities of CWC include food grain warehouses, industrial warehousing, custom bonded warehouses, container freight stations, inland clearance depots and air cargo complexes.
