Introduction
Central Government Health Scheme” (CGHS) provides comprehensive examination health care facilities for the Central Govt. employees and pension Aries and their dependants residing in CGHS covered cities.
The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS)- External website that opens in a new window in India provides health care adeptness’s to CGHS (External website that opens in a new window) donees, which include All Central Government Servants paid through Civil Estimates, Pensioners drawing pension from Civil Estimates and their family members, Members of Parliament and Ex-MPs, Judges of Supreme Court of India, Ex-Governors and Ex-Vice Presidents, former prime Ministers, Employees and Pensioners of Autonomous Bodies, Former Judges of Supreme Court of India and High Courts and Freedom Fighters.
Under CGHS, health services are provided through Allopathic, Homeopathic and Indian system of medicines, which comes under the Department of AYUSH (External website that opens in a new window).
The medical facilities are provided through dispensaries/polyclinics and the chief medical officers/medical Officers are in charge of the dispensaries for the smooth functioning of the scheme. The CGHS beneficiaries in India.
The medical facilities are provided through Wellness Centers (previously referred to as CGHS Dispensaries) /polyclinics under Allopathic, Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Sidha and Homeopathic systems of medicines.

I am retiring on 30-04-2010.My present basic is rs13320+grade pay rs 4200.How much I have to pay if I want to be a member of CGHS?Previously I was not a member of CGHS.

I am retiring from central Govt service on 30-04-2010. previously I was not a member of CGHS’ I have completed 32 years of service” My pay in band is Rs13320 + Grade Pay is Rs4200 . How much I have to pay if now I want to be a member of CGHS?
