CFTI Central Footwear Training Institute is a sovereign institution under Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro & Rural Industry, Government of India and has been working for Human Resource Development for Footwear & allied Industry since 1957. A 2 years Diploma course on “Footwear Design & Production” was inserted in association with Textile Institute, London, UK. CFTI is inviting application for its new academic session 2011-2012 for UG, PG course degree, other related details are given below:-
Undergraduate Programmes:-
Diploma in Footwear Design and Production (2 years) (Chennai/Agra)
Footwear Designing & Product Development (1 year) (Agra)
Eligibility: 10+2 (graduates with fine arts background preferred, for Agra),
Certificate Course in Footwear Technology (1 year)
Eligibility: 10th Pass
Post Graduate Diploma in Footwear Technology (1 year)
Eligibility: Any Degree
Post Diploma in Footwear Technology (1 year)
Eligibility: Any Diploma
Age: 17 Years and above as on First week of January 2011
Reservation: As per Govt, of India rules for SC / ST candidates.

Interested candidate may download the application form and course catalog through the website: www.cftichennai.in. The downloaded application form must be attached with a DD of prescribed amount. Candidate may also obtain the application form and course catalogue in person on submission of a DD prescribed amount in favoring Director, CFTI, or by post by sending a request letter request letter along with DD prescribed amount favoring Director, CFTI.
