CEE Assam 2011 Combined Entrance Examination
Combined Entrance Examination will be held for Admission to MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS & Engineering Courses in Assam for the academic year 2011-2012. The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam will take Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission into 4-year B. E. programme in several faculties of engineering in different engineering colleges of the state. There are 2 government engineering colleges in Assam. These are the Assam Engineering College, Guwahati and Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat.

Eligibility
The candidates must have passed the 10+2 Exam with Chemistry, Physics and Maths as subjects or an equivalent exam. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam are also eligible.
Age
Must not be above 21 years, or below 17 years of age on the first of August of the year in which the candidate seeks admission.

The application form may be downloaded form the official website and can also be got by sending DD with a request letter.
Selection Process
Selection will be made on merit in CECE took at several centers in the State. The test will be held usually in the month of May/ June. Separate merit list will be set up for general/reserved categories. List of successful candidates will be notified in leading State newspapers /colleges.

ST 15% (Plains 10% Hills 5%)

Exam Pattern of CEE Assam 2011
Physics: 100 Marks
Chemistry: 100 Marks
Biology: 100 Marks. (In case of biology, Botany 50 Marks and Zoology 50 Marks).
Mathematics: 100 Marks.

sir, through due sources i hav come to know that there will be no JET examination..i wanted to know weather the same procedure will be followed in MET too..i will b duely obliged, if i get ur reply at the earliest.. yours sincerely,debarun biswas.

sir, i want to know CEE (MET) will be na? there will no JAT in CEE this time na, what will happen to MET?? wil be tere negative marking? wil it take by pmt?
