CDS (Combined Defence Services Examination) 2010 Eligibility
Nationality: A examinee must either be (i) a Indian national, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to the country before the 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age limits, Sex and Marital Status
For IMA: Unmarried male examinees born not earlier than 02/01/1987 and not later than 01/01/1992 only are qualified
For Naval Academy: Unmarried male examinees born not earlier than 02/01/1989 (2nd January, 1987 in case of NCC naval wing ‘C’ certificate holders) and not later than 01/01/1992 only are qualified
For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male examinees born not earlier than 02/01/1988 and not later than 01/01/1992 only are qualified
For Officer’s Training Academy (SSC course for men): – Male examinees (married or unmarried) born not earlier than 02/01/1986 and not later than 01/01/1992 only are qualified
(v) For Officers Training Academy (SSC women non-technical course): – Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are qualified. They should have born not earlier than 02/01/1986 and not later than 01/01/1992.
