CCRAS Ayush
Introduction
The Central Council for Research in Ayurveda & Siddha Ayush is an independent body recorded on 30/03/1978 below the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860. This Council arrived into being after branch of the formerly Central Council for Research in Indian Medicine and Homeopathy into 4 distinct Research Councils.
CCRAS Ayush Basic Research: Demographic Research , Survey and Surveillance, Tribal Population Health Care Research curriculum.
This curriculum has been started with the following aims and targets:
To study the realistic considerations of tribal people
To get the information about folk medicines used through them
To get the information about medicinal plants of the field
Research on fundamental principles of CCRAS Ayush
Pancha Mahabhuts – Tridosa. Prakriti, Agni, Srotas, Saptadhalu, Ojas, Ama.
Rasa, Guna, Virga, Vipaka and Prabhana. Similar areas of Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy, Yoga & Naturopathy.
