Introduction
Chennai Corporation AIDS Prevention and Control Society has a three-fold accusative – ‘cognizance, approachability, Action’ – these three A’s are the defense under which a wide ambit of actions are carried out. Condom Promotion, teen Clinics, Family Health Awareness Campaigns and Anti return Therapy are some of the actions carried out at CAPACS.
The range of regular services include medication; psychosocial support, clinical care, human rights education and legal support to help the HIV-positive people create a network for them.
CAPACS by its dedication and attempts has so far helped create a detectable change in the character of life of HIV affected role through health, counseling and support services. It has also been instrumental in raising the levels of cognizance about the disease and enhancing bar amounts. It works strategically to create a better and better tomorrow for the community.
It is at this point where the Chennai bay window steps advancing and takes responsible for conclusions in the management of the city’s health. Today we have the Chennai bay window AIDS bar and Control Society that oversees all the projects and cognizance causes and health camps.
