Bharathiar University was based at Coimbatore by the authorities of Tamilnadu in February, 1982 under the planning of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982). The Postgraduate Centre of the University of Madras, which was controlling in Coimbatore ahead 1982, formed the core of the Bharathiar University. In May, 1985 the University received the credit from University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi for the function of grants.
Results 2010
Bharathiar University conducts various UG & PG Exam 2010 in every year. The university published the result of examination 2010.
