Berhampur University Orissa
Introduction
Berhampur University came into being on 2nd January 1967 being introduced by Dr. A.N. Khosla, the then governor of Orissa and the first prime minister of the University. The University was later exchanged to the award site known as Bhanja Bihar, named after the known poet of Orissa Kabisamrat Upendra Bhanja. Disseminating over an area of about two 100 fifty acres the university is dozen kilometers and 5 klicks away from the Berhampur City and Sea-beach of Gopalpur individually.
The university has a wide area below its legal power and 11 Govt. bodies, 62 non Govt. colleges and 26 master technical colleges are associated to it.
