Bengal Sappers have also the unique difference of constituting the only Army group joined with both the Navy and the Air Force. It won laurels by building the upper Ganga Canal, the life line of agriculture in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand and western and central UP, building roads and bridged at high altitude and under taking the management of the national disasters and tragedies in different parts of the country.
