BCECE 2011 Bihar College Engineering Common Entrance Exam
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) will be taken in 2011 for admission to the first year B.Sc (Engineering)/ BTech (Agri. Engg & Dairy Tech) courses. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has been formed by the Government of Bihar in accordance with the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act 1995. The Board currently takes Combined Competitive Entrance Examinations (BCECE 2011) for admission in Graduate level professional Courses in engineering streams available in the Universities, Colleges and Institutions of the State of Bihar as well as those located outside Bihar against State Quota seats.

Eligibility Criteria for BCECE:
A candidate should have passed class 12th with atleast 60% aggregate in PCM. There is relaxation of 10% for SC/ST candidates in % aggregate. Additionally a candidate should be minimum 17 years of age and not more than 25 years.
How to Apply
The application form can be downloaded from the official website and can be got by sending a request letter along with a DD of prescribed application form fees.
Selection:
Selection will be made on merit in BCECE 2011 took at varied centers in the State. The test is held normally in the month of May/ June. Separate merit list is trained for general/reserved categories. List of successful candidates is notified in leading State newspapers /colleges.
Examination Pattern of BCECE 2011:
Bihar CET test paper comprises of 3 papers of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates appear in the examination in 2 groups, according to their preferred field, with a various combination of subjects.
