Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) was started in 1954, is India’s primary nuclear explore facility based in Mumbai. It has a number of nuclear reactors, all of which are used for India’s nuclear power and explore programme. PHD in Science or Engineering stream. The PHD programmes of various fields are imagined to commence from September 2010 in nuclear science and technology, in particular and in Biological, Chemical, engineering and physical sciences in general.
Eligibility:
Candidate Qualifying degree and other academic qualifications Those having M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Biology or related science subjects with minimum 60% marks in MSc as well as BSc or B.E./B.Tech or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in one of the following engineering disciplines, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation are eligible to apply
Age Limit:
Candidates desirous of availing DAE Fellowship should have been bom on or after 01 September, 1984. Age limit is relaxable by 3 Years for OBC and by 5 Years for SC / ST applicants.

Sir,
Myself Ms.Prativa Sahu have completed B.Sc(Ag) from ORISSA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY,BBSR(2005-2009 ) and recently doing M.Sc(Horticulture) at DR.Y.S.PARMAR UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURE AND FORESTRY,NAUNI,SOLAN,H.P specialisation in Fruit Science under All India ICAR Entrance Examination(JRF).
Is there any scope for doing Ph.D under BARC?plz kindly reply me.
