Awadhesh Pratap Singh University Rewa, a state university in Madhya Pradesh, The University was based on the 20th July 1968 is a member of The Association of Indian Universities, AIU. Situated on the foot of Vindhyas, the University campus is environmentally friendly, far from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The campus has the looks of ancient ashrams. The University has been named after Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh, a distinguished freedom fighter.
University allows for various courses and includes sections of Environmental Biology, Computer Science, Science, Humanities, Ambedkar Bhawan (Hindi Department) amongst others. It aims at providing holistic quality education thereby enabling students in becoming leaders in their chosen professions.
