Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD) for Exploration and Research is the most former unit of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). In holding with its arising stature as one of the Nation’s leading scientific administrations engaged in multi-disciplinary and multi-faceted exploration-cum-analytical-cum research activities, the Division was rechristened as a Directorate on July 29, 1998 on the eve of its stepping into the Golden Jubilee Year. Atomic Minerals Directorate for exploration and Research working under the Department of Atomic Energy recruited the candidates in 2010 for below mentioned posts, in 2011 the department may open the vacancies for the same posts, the related details are given below:-

Technical Officer –C (Mining):
Qualification: – Candidate should have a degree in mining engineering from a recognized university/Institution with at least 60% marks and first class mines manager certificate of competency.

Scientific Assistant-B (Physics):
Qualification: – The candidate should have a B.Sc degree with Maths, Physics and chemistry with at least 60%.

Note that Post graduate holders are strictly not considered for this post.

Scientific Assistant B (Chemistry):
Qualification: – The candidate should have a B.Sc degree with Maths, Physics and Chemistry with at least 60% marks. Again, PG candidates are not allowed to apply.

Scientific Assistant B (Drilling/Mech):
Qualification: – The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Drilling engineering from a recognized institute with at least 60% marks.

Note that candidates with Engineering degree (BE/BTech) are not considered.

Age Limits: - The age limits for the above posts is up to 27 years and is Relax-able for minority classes as per rules.

Applications:- Applications must purely be created in the prescribed format and the certified copies of Educational and technical qualifications, Date of Birth proof, Caste certificates (if applicable), Experience certificate (if any) should be sent along with the application form to below given address.

Selection: – Selection of Technical Officer-E post will be made on interview and selection I for Scientific Assistant-B posts will be made on Practical Test / interview. Selection for Technical Officer-C post will be made on a written test adopted by interview for those who qualify in written test. Written test and interview will be held at Hyderabad.
