Assam Public Service Commission Exam
Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist. April, 1937 in accordance with the planning of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr. James Hezelett, a drew back ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new rule in 1951, five more officers mostly drew back ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for dissimilar period after Mr. James Hezelett.
Eligibility
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as on 01.01.2010.The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST candidates.
Qualification: A candidate must have at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Vety. Science/Dairy Science from a recognized university/Institution.
Apply: Application forms are obtainable from Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on requisition stating clearly the name of post and section accompanied by a self addressed .
