Andhra University College of Engineering at Visakhapatnam, India is a sovereign college of Andhra University. Andhra University is an institute of higher education in India, founded in 1926. The College of Engineering (Autonomous) offers of twelve engineering and four general Sciences departments offering fifteen Under-Graduate Engineering programmes and MCA and M.Sc. programmes in several departments, the departments are also running Ph.D. programmes in research. The students are admitted into the Undergraduate programmes based on their score in the EAMCET – a Common Entrance Test. The faculties of the Engineering College is engaged in active research and are fulfilling projects and research strategies that are allowed by National level funding agencies like UGC, AICTE, CSIR, DST, DOD, DAE, NSTL and DOT etc.
