All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was made in 1956 to assist as a nucleus for providing quality in all sphere of health care. It was founded as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the aims to arise forms of teaching in UG and PG Medical Education in all its branches so as to establish a high measure of Medical Education in India.
The Institute has comprehensive services for teaching, experiment and patient-care. AIIMS functions a difference of undergraduate courses in medicine, nursing and linked subjects , and postgraduate courses in almost all the fundamental and clinical medical specializations and super peculiarities, and awards its own degrees. 25 clinical divisions including four super specialty centers deal practically all types of illness conditions with hold from pre- and Para-clinical departments.
