Commissioner of ahmadnagar municipal corporation, ahmadnagar calls for tender for furnishing and providing isi mark c. I. S/s pipes of 700 mm length of \’a\’ class considering all taxes (central and local) insurance, railway freight, dropping off from railway wagon, filling into trucks, transport to departmental stores / site, unloading stacking etc.
The Rs 14 lakh fire tender has 4500 litre capacity water tank, water-cum-foam monitor and pump sets to go up extra water. The fresh fire tender can spray water at demanded pressure up to fifth floor. Besides it is connected with a powerful focus light and amplifier system. The new vehicle was officially commissioned to the civic burn brigade crew in mien of Municipal Council president Lata Lodha, her deputy Liyakat Shaikh and chief officer Ramesh Mavasi, this night. The crew also gave a demonstration of the strengths of the new vehicle to the VIPs.
