Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a premier institute for medical education in the country. AFMC is brought off by Indian armed forces. It was established in 1948 at Pune as a graduate training and explore centre. MBBS was started in 1962. Every year a large number of students come along for AFMC MBBS Entrance exam and the competitor is really tough. Students doing their MBBS from AFMC are liable to serve at the least 7 years in the armed forces.
Eligibility
Candidate must have attained at age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010 and should not be more than 22 years on 31st December, 2010. Besides candidates should not be married and cannot marry even during the course.
Application Procedure: -candidate can submit application either On-Line through Internet OR Off-Line through prescribed Application form :
(AFMC), Pune, commencing from 02 Aug 2010. Application forms will be available in the intended post offices across the country. The application form can too be received by sending a application for the form to AFMC along with a demand draft.
