Admission for MCA
Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course offered by NITT is projected believing the need of dissimilar Software Houses in India and abroad and has a high job potential in IT Sector in India and abroad. The NIMCET is a National Level Entrance Test carried on by NIT for admission to the MCA course offered by NIT. The admission to MCA programme in NITT, offered MCA Course, is based on the Rank found in NIMCET.
ELIGIBILITY
Candidates, with 60% marks (6.5/10 CGPA) in Bachelor’s degree of Full Time 3 years duration from a recognized University with Mathematics / Statistics / Business Maths. as one of the subjects in any one semester/year, both in graduation and at 10+2 level are eligible. For SC/ST candidates the percentage of marks required is 55%(6.0/10 CGPA).
Application Fee
The application form processing fees is Rs. 750/- for Maharashtra State (General Category) candidates, OMS and J&K Migrant candidates whereas Rs. 550/- for reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State (i.e. Candidates having relevant backward class Caste Certificate and other applicable certificates issued by Maharashtra State authorities).
