AA Vs AS Degree
The Associate in Arts program is a two-year course of study that blankets the core fabrics needed to finish the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree. The A.A. program for each area parallels the State University System’s curriculum. Some of the credits made in an A.S. degree program also can be transferred to a four-year college or university. These programs are mainly provided through affiliated colleges at universities. In 2004, Australia added “associate degree” to the Australian Qualifications Framework.
A companion’s degree is an undergraduate academic degree granted by community colleges, junior colleges, technical colleges and some four-year bachelor’s degree-allowing colleges and universities upon completion of a course of study usually lasting two years. An A.S. degree program generally takes about two years to complete. A.S. degree programs provide students with the required knowledge to perform and excel in a particular profession.
